I have been reading the submissions to the list and it appears that the accepted practice is to Type 1 anodize the aluminum fittings and fixtures. I would like to know if any one has attemped to or has experience with powder coating these items. I know that powder coating involves some pretty high baking temperatures. Does this degrade the temper or heat treating of the aluminum? Any info would be much appreciated Steve Hagar A143 Mesa, Arizona |
