Hi! Europaphiles.
Further to my posting about how obliging John Bourn has been , he posted a
reply to me advising of his new number etc, thanking me for the
recommendation, I thought I bounced it on to the Europa Circuit?
for your benefit. My contribution now is that that message will give the
e-mail address as another means of rrattling his cage.Unfortunately I have
deleted it. He did take a while to deliver my parts , but it was by
agreement and always sent me the next parts when I requested . Of course I
can only speak as I find. I have put in a 'phone call to him today to his
new number , and got the dreaded answer machine, still waiting for his
reply.
I'm not prepared to speculate what the trouble is but I would have thought
that he would have sunk quite a sum of cash into the mold for the XS wing
tip and so needs your business to justify the expense?
I am concerned though because of course there is the warranty implications
to consider.?
He clearly read my last posting so if he is reading this he should come out
of the woodwork, come on John.?
Regards to all

Subject: Goldwing Aviation Warning
Rob,
I ordered and paid in full for a set of twin strobes from Goldwing Aviation
back in May of this year. I was promised delivery within a month (seven
months ago). Since that time I have seen nothing of my strobes, received no
receipt for my money (although the cheque was cashed quickly) and have
found
it impossible to contact the company.
The telephone number below quoted by Bob Harrison is no longer valid, you
need to dial +44 (0)1992 610625, although once you have done this, you will
find yourself talking to an answer-phone. Countless messages for someone to
contact me have gone unanswered and I now have that sinking feeling that
I've "been had".
I have know of others that paid deposits on strobe sets during the PFA
rally
at Cranfield and have heard nothing since.
This is not intended as a "Sour Grapes" posting, but a genuine warning to
others not to part with your money until you have the goods in your hands.
The products are by all accounts good, but I suspect the business is not
doing too well.
