Several Europa builders have fitted our non capacitance fuel gauge in their
Europas. I think Jim Naylor was the first. We have sold around 200 units for
various aircraft and have yet to have one returned faulty!!!!
This is not a sales pitch though, but to say one of our recent customers has
put his sender unit in a stand pipe behind the seat. This avoids cutting
into the tank which avoids the possibility of weakening the tank and the
problem of getting bits out of the tank. A mod has been applied for this and
to fit an elba fuel computer also supplied by us together with running on
unleaded petrol. I can ask if the customer would be happy if I posted the
mods on our web site when he gets approval.
If anybody is interested please Email us.
