It is common in aviation (or at least it used to be) to use natural rubber
seals in brake systems. Unfortunately, automotive brake fluid will attack
natural rubber, and so it is important to use the right fluid. The Europa
brake system uses synthetic rubber and automotive brake fluid, so your
Shell Fluid 4 should be ok. It should be easy to check, though: the container
should mention that it meets DOT4 or DOT3.
