In the L.E.A.F. and Lockwood Catalogs there is an item the appears to be a dynamic prop balancer. It looks like a disk with with what I assume to be a tubular outer ring partially filled with a liquid. It mounts on the 912 prop hub and the propeller is mounted on top of it. The principal appears to be like a washing machine balance compensation ring which used water in a ring to compensate for unbalanced loads during the spin cycle. Has anyone tried this gadget?
