Yes mine (Classic) appeared to do just that and I had to repair and put in a
heat reflection/distribution layer. I suppose I should have been forwarned
by the ramp on the trailer becoming progressively more difficult to get past
the exhaust pipe but thought this was due to different tyre pressures.
