My newly acquired wife works for Discovery.com, and has access to the
broadcast schedules and -- periodically -- advance tapes of shows coming up.
She said "A Plane Is Born" doesn't appear on the US schedule within the next
9 months, although they are known to change the schedule on short notice,
and do sometimes run a show under a different name in different markets.
I have attempted, using those limited tools at a husband's disposal, to
persuade her to pull in every favor to get copies of the advance tapes from
Discovery. She will give it a shot, but she emphasized to me that it's a
long one.
... The shot, that is.
