The PFA, in common with the BMAA and I think the BGA, are advising
all members to limit _all_ flying, from whatever airfield, to avoid
entirely the use of farm strips, and obviously to check the NOTAMs
for the latest no-go areas. The virus is reported to be wind-borne,
so just disinfecting the wheels is probably not enough (although it
seems many road vehicles are not getting much more). No doubt the
1500' exclusion zone dimension is biassed well down the bell-curve of
probability. THIS NEXT BIT IS PURE SPECULATION! You might find that
the science showed the virus didn't get much above (say) 200', but
can you imagine the CAA promulgating an exclusion zone only 200' AGL?
No, thought not!
