I would urge you to very very carefully research any plans to put a
handbrake lever on the control stick. I attempted to develop "toe brakes"
for my trigear Europa.....with little success. I found that the amount of
hydraulic pressure required to activate the disc brakes, was much greater
than anyone imagined. It takes a very long lever to generate the kind of
geometric leverage needed. Take a close look at the geometry of the
"standard" brake lever, and plan any new application to provide at least
the same amount of leverage. Also, consider whether you can generate the
same amount of strength using your fingers for griping, as one can generate
using their whole arm to activate the brakes. Best of luck!

The Baldoon flying group did that and using a hydraulic master from a
motorcycle.
Don`t know what fluid they used as master and slave would likely have
different needs. But you could always use silicone, which is compatible
with
all types of seal.
