            Perhaps I'm lax, but I drilled 1/8" on the Xs and slid through a
long length of welding rod. Then I laid my 12 foot 1x3 aluminum molding
across the cockpit and gave it the old evileye. They lined up perfectly, so
I didn't fuss.
            I flew a DC-9 with crooked stabs you could see from 200 feet
ahead - must have been one or two degrees - and it was second fastest in the
fleet........
            I think decimal degrees are trouble-makers in some cases.
