I had a problem initially rigging my port wing. It would go in easily until
about the last 1 inch, but then refused to move in further - although there
had been no problem fitting the wing before the flaps were attached.

It was easy to see through from the starboard side that there were no
obstructions, and in the end we discovered that the problem was with the
bearing in the port end of the flap cross tube (FL15).

The inner part of that bearing was very "gritty" to move around with a
finger; the solution, for my aircraft, is to "wiggle" the inner end of the
flap whilst holding the flap pin against the bearing. As the person on the
wingtip pushes the wing in, everything slides together as designed.

PS for John Cliff - if you see this message on the forum, could you let me
know - then I will know that my transmission problem has resolved itself.

PS for Erich - you should see this message twice, once on the forum, once
direct to you. Please let me know if you only see it once! Thanks.
