For removing tape residue, try lighter fluid (Ronson. Yellow bottle). Its cheap, readily available, and I've used it on all sorts of paint and gelcoat without problems. Wipe some on with a rag and let it soak for a minute, then just wipe it off. I use it for removing tape residue from gliders (gaps are taped). Also great for removing stickers and price tags. Soak the sticker for a minute, and it nearly falls off. Ben Clerx A144 |
