Steve I just did that job on my plane, ( N229WC "Wile Coyote" ), a month ago. I cut smaller than required and then mounted the tire and carefully cut until I had a half inch clearance. The brake sticks out to one side quit a ways. By doing it this way, "to fit", I will not have to rebuild places like I did on Bob's "Beep Beep" . Cliff Shaw 1041 Euclid ave.
