Hi! Raimo.
The manual gives no specification about fit tollerances, and in my mind a
loose fit is the commencement of wear. However there must be no drag on any
of the four locations because when they are all linked it is likely to be
unacceptably stiff. There must be no stiffness whatsoever.
Since the module will be disturbed from its present set up when you install
it in the fuselage
it's best to be on the free side than the stiff side. However if it becomes
stiff any time ,mine was and a number of others have been , I had drilled a
aerosol can probe injector hole into each
bearing(prior to assembly! I also left the injector pipe in place on the
rear ones) Then when it was stiff I was able to insert Brasso into each
location and with a half hour or so of hand ossillation of the system it
will wear itself free. Whilst the module is perpendicular or in the diving
mode it is easy then to wash out the brasso abrasive until the solvent runs
clean.
The holes then make for future oiling.
(don't use any more course grinding paste because it will embed itself in
the tuffnol)

Hi All!

I am installing the aileron controls like
torque tube CS5 to cockpit modul.

I understand it makes sense to make system
as friction-free as possible.

How can I know it is good enough?

Better to be sure before bonding with flox those
Tufnol-bearings.

Cheers,
