Although I do not know what the long term longevity will be I have used a 
desktop
LaserJet printing on a laminating sheet. The sheets are not specifically 
designed
for Laser Jet per say but do work well.  To protect the labels I have applied
several coats of "clear lacquer" over the label prior to applying them
to the panel.  Time will tell.
