Hi Paul,
     my fuel system is all teflon 666. I almost got a coronary when told the 
price of the fittings, but luckily a friend at aeroquip came to the resque. 
Hopefully it should last the lifetime of the plane. The aeroquip guys are 
doing the joining work for a proper fit. I doubt one can use clips to hold 
the hoses. There is not enough "meat" for the clip to give a tight seal.You 
will have to use JIC fitting to get a tight seal.
