Advisable to check the time vs. current curve of the selected fusible link, as these things are slow devices by design. It may not blow at 40A before, besides charring #12 wire, damage to the regulator or stator assembly occurs. Many minutes verses seconds for a slow-blo fuse. Fred F. |
