"[ both sides of the upper ''D'' shape bulkhead."
Hmm, yes, I think I will do that although my manual with any revisions
that I have found did NOT say do both sides of the D bulkhead. The
language was somewhat confusing but it definitely did not say both
sides. I elected to do the aft side which was difficult and I suspect
not particularly strong, so I will scrape off the finish, bond the front
side, and then repaint. Grr.

Hi Mike,
The baggage bay floor sits 3/4'' [19mm] above the tailplane pushrod, at
the same angle, put a piece of scrap timber that thick on top of the
pushrod, and trim the outer edge of the floor, and the rear bulkhead so
there is no pressure on to the inside of the fuselage.
Then bond in with Redux under the overlapping flange to the lower
bulkhead, and 2 ply Bid from the panel to the fuselage, [ both sides of
the upper ''D'' shape bulkhead.]
Cheers,
Nev.

Good Day All,
I am putting in the baggage bay and have a couple of quick questions for
those that have gone before.
1) Is the baggage bay supposed to be jammed into the bottom of the
canoe? Or
is it supposed to have the edges sanded down until it just fits the
proper
place in the canoe? As it is, it seems to push the sides out a little
too much
for my senses.
2) Is the floor of the baggage bay supposed to be level with the door
sill or
tilted up in the back so it is level with the bottom skin?
Thanks in advance for the knowledge that will calm the nerves.
