The common fiberglass "repair kits" are polyester resin, and besides dissolving polystyrene (blue) foam, polyester has other annoying characteristics. Home Depot sells epoxy laminating resin as a pint each of resin and hardener. As a 50/50 mix, the stuff is simple to work with. Regards, Fred F. N3EU |
