That is what I did! I then put the vent in the slot where the flap
drive is.

Did I read that the tank vent should be entirely separate from any other
vent or
can my tank vent be t'd into that from the sight guage to the top of the
filler neck and another vent taken from the filler neck to the fuselage
bottom?
