Jeremy, you apparently have a more recent version of the manual. My
version, and I suspect Dave's version may be the same, has no mention of
this minor detail. The first two PAGES in Chapter 9 of Issue 1 of the
Tri-Gear Manual dated 30 May 1998 discuss attaching the aileron hinges and
then it goes on to discuss various other subjects.
Because there are several versions of the "Builders (sic) Manual" it would
help avoid confusion (or thinking: RTFM, dude!), and make it more likely
that a posting would get a reply, if we mentioned what version we are using.
I responded to Dave off-list with a photo.
Best regards,

Subject: Europa-List: Cutting Wing to Accept Mass Balance Arm
I cannot seem to find instructions in my manual on the procedure for cutting
the openings in the wings to accept the mass balance arms on the ailerons.
I have an idea as how they should be done but I don't want to guess. Am I
not seeing something in the manual? If the procedure is not in the manual
does anyone have the instructions for doing this?
Thanks,
Dave Simenauer
