Europa-List: Mass Balance Arms again

I mounted the mass balance arms on the ailerons according to the specs in the 
manual
before I got the information that they probably would not line up in the
joggles on the wings before I did this.  So,  do I need to cut the arms off and
start over (I hope not)  or is it O.K. to trim the edges of the covers and
move them off center to fit over the arms? Other solutions?
