>>> I think Tony Krzyzewski has tested a simple string attachment to the
control-stick in order to trim. According to my memories it worked very
well.
I can't take the credit for that as it was Russel Lister who came up
with the idea.... And it does work very well. For those who missed the
original posting the technique is stupidly simple....
A light bungy cord connected to the control column leads from there
towards the port side where yachting sheet(rope) clamp, attached to the
thigh support, is used to hold the bungy in place. The aircraft roll is
trimmed via a fixed roll trim tab so that the plane flies level with
just the pilot on board.
With just the pilot on board there should be no tension in the bungy.
With a passenger on board you simply tension the bungy until the plane
flies level and clip the bungy into the sheet clamp.
Regards
Tony
