If that or a similar arrangement is desired. However, on
production aircraft, FAA has approved drilling a hole in the
firewall, inserting a grommet, running the bundle through
it, and sealing up the gap. Any type of connector
arrangement is two potential points of failure per wire, and
more weight. A grommet for something as thick as the
firewall will probably have to come from places like
mouser.com or digikey.com, though.
