I'm struggling with marrying the 914 to the firewall and note that
already one of the installed throttle cables is kinking. Admittedly, the
return spring is not on the engine end, but once is kinks the likelihood
exists.........
So presume to install a solid wire instead and wonder if someone
else has good advice on this. 'Piano' wire comes to mind but not sure of the
replacement diameter needed, nor of rusting considerations. fortunately
there's a well-equipped model shoppe half a mile away. The guilty twisted
cable measures 0.060 inches and presumed something simialr would be required
for the clamps, etc.
Any relevent suggestions gratefully received.
