Hi everybody,
While going over everything one last time before inspection, I noticed that I
neglected to install the limiting washers on the pip pin for the wings. I did
install the spring washer on the spar cup, but for whatever reason never
completed the "washer limiter" on the cockpit side.
I fiddled with it yesterday and realized that my pip pin is hitting something
before the balls exit the spar cup hole. I can't see what it is hitting from
the access hole in the belly and I can't see it from the side either due to
the way I attached the wing root fairings to the side of the fuselage. I think
it's hitting the aileron belcrank, though.
Has anybody had any trouble with this? If so, what's the solution? I thought
about just doing away with the pip pin altogether and installing a similar pin
arrangement as the right side.
