Have any trigear builders tried DAMPING GREASE, it is available from NEWGATE 
SIMMS
LTD. in chester , tel. 01244 660771 , it is available in a wide range of 
vicosities
althogh i found that grade NYE 774VH OR PG44A have transformed my streak
free castoring nosewheel - it no longer shimmies at any touch down speed
( 55-65knots no wind) and has not required tightening in over a year.
