Oil pressure senders have a poor reliability record with the Rotax. This appears to be due to vibration. Some owners are on their third oil sender after only a few hundred hours. As a result when my sender failed I fitted a short length of hose between it and the crankcase. This allows the sender to be mounted remotely reducing the effects of vibration. Nigel Charles |
