I have just completed mod 73 on my own aircraft (G-RJWX) and all went 
well - thankfully! 
As I did the job at home and the aircraft was left at the airfield 
(Sleap) I needed a substitute for the torque tube. So I borrowed the 
tailplane posts off someone's trailer (mine have been galvanised and are 
now too thick!).
They needed a couple of coats of paint and flatting to get a really 
good, smooth finish but they were ideal.
