And some other opinion on previous messges in this thread:
The andair mesh is 80 micron, not 120.
Placing the gascolator after the fuel pumps does not protect the fuel pumps and
return valves from debris from the tank. There is some kind of mesh in the pump,
and if it caches debris, it will be cluttered pretty soon. The gascolator
is designed to do just that. IMHO it is not a good idea to put the pumps before
the pumps and return valves. The dry head suction of the pump is more then then
the lowest possible level in the tank. As a test i switched from an empty
main to an almost empty reserve with only 2 liters, and it took 4 seconds to
build
fuel pressure back to normal. Before the carbs are filled and the engine
is back to normal life however, takes another 2 seconds of missing heart beats.
