Statistically the number one reason for crashes and forced landings is running
out of fuel. Adding fuel dump valves is adding one more possible failure mode
leading to running without fuel. Most of these cases are pilot error. Best leave
the pilot home :-) Flying safety is a compromise. If you keep adding everything
one could possibly think of, you will end up with a plane that will so heavy
that it will never leave the ground. Which makes it a pretty safe thing which
is not an airplane any more.
More specific to the Europa and it's backrest fuel tank, i can't remember fire
balls on crashing. Only with added fuel tanks.
