As far as limited boost on your 914 goes, first determine if the TCU is
opening the wastegate or if you have a physical problem. Cycle the
wastegate shut and turn off TCU and do a test to see if you can get max
boost, if you can let us know and we can go from there and troubleshoot
TCU. If it will not boost, it is a physical problem. Leak somewhere
between output of turbo and cylinders, (restricted intake????), or turbo
that is not spinning up fast enough due to binding, or problem with
impeller, make sure your wastegate is sealing AND CLOSING PROPERLY AND
FULLY, or could be a restricted exhaust.
