The brackets should be inside the outline of the cockpit module. Have a look at

There are a few pictures that clearly show the situation. Maybe the brackets are
upside down, or port-starboard interchanged? Later, once the cockpit module
is mounted in the fuselage you will lap up the brackets to the fuselage. If
wrong,
better to correct now.
