As a follower and occasional contributor to Matt's excellent list and it's
predecessor,
I regret
that I am getting too old to finish and fly my Europa 121. I've spent thirteen
years and 5500
hours on the build so far.
121 is a classic monowheel. The airframe is complete aft of the firewall and
signed
off with all
relevant mandatory mods done, including the latest mod 73 (with sb15) and mod
74.
I've also included the following optional mods: 29, 33 , 34, 43 (retaining the
original rudder
push-rod using Graham Singleton's bellcrank), 49, 50, 51, 54 and 61b (Europa's
very neat stall
warner), together with Ted Gladstone's folding door stays and my own PFA mod
10710.
This is a
Lyndhurst fuel contents sensor in a separate fuel stack that allows a visual
pre-flight
check on
contents. Jigging has been used as much as possible for high standards (that's
where many of the
hours went!), and I have a workshop log and a photographic record of each task.
Situated near Prestwick airport, Scotland. Major components are held in wheeled
cradles. If you
are interested please contact me off list or on 01292 442513
Best wishes to you all,
Gerry Cole
