Are you talking about the metal end sockets, or the plastic ones? The
plastic ones I received with my kit were never strong to begin with, but
time and heat have deformed them enough to allow the ball to pop out
without any effort.
If the new plastic ones have a clip then that would suit my needs too,
otherwise I will just go for the metal ones.
