Ilona & Frans,
try Dirk van O. He did with succes XRT`s maiden flight 29.4.2007 and he
was my very best available choise, because he followed my building
process and he had built his own Mono OO-145 and had operated it
hundreds of hours. The main purpose of XRT`s maiden flight was to check
that my Europa was like Europa should be. That=B4s why I thought it is
better to have Europa-specified pilot more than any other "normal" pro
not-Europa-related test pilot. After his maiden flight (everything was
ok), one ordinary but pro test-pilot made necessary evalution and test
flights and transited me to the tailwheel and Mono. Dirk is by the way
professor of the composite techs. He is just now in Morocco, but should
come back next week. If you wanna ask him, please contact me direct.
You are very wise when fighting against temptation to do it Yourself.
There have been so many sad accidents because builder may think "I am
the best because I know her better than anyone".
Soon you will have a pix like attached. I wish you all the luck.
Raimo from Finland OH-XRT
