Hello, the air box on my classic has been modified by the builders to have the option for carb heating. So it became bigger and heavier. Unfortunately it never worked. I want to undo the modification and have a question about the original design. In my modified air box is a support laminated in, which is connected to the engine mount. Is that necessary? Is there a support at all in the factory deign or do only the carbs carry the air box as I am expecting?
