thank you for the reply.
I now have mounted the the water heated carb flange.
That puts the carbs nearer to the firewall and the laminated extra air paper
filter
on the back of the air box dos not fit anymore.
I now will reinstall the support because the air box is rather heavy but I think
that this is no intelligent design, generating more vibration on the carbs and
causing them to wear earlier.
The original air box by Rotax is a very light alloy tube.
