Aha...so, if I'm understanding your concerns correctly, the sticky
dilemma is the realization that in the event of an engine shutdown, your
range to an emergency landing will be sharply limited w/ a forward speed
of only 50 kts....?... What was your sink rate and estimated L/D in
this configuration?
