I'm not suggesting you do this, but I have on occasion when flying at altitude
and wishing to drop the revs:

If you select "manual", and then hold the "feather" toggle down, you can use the
manual pitch rocker switch to select a pitch coarser than the coarse stop.

Obviously don't do this in "auto", especially with the blue knob set to 
"feather"!
