Good to see you are making progress Dave. The XS engine frame makes the engine
sit 1" further forward and 2" higher and will not work with the "classic" 
cowls........I'v
already researched this as you know i too have the classic.If you
have to buy new cowlings try Neville Eyre's as they have bigger air in takes
and baffles to direct and slow down the air.
