Thanks for your help Roland & Jon,

I've tried to call the airfield on +49 6322 61500 to see if I can clear 
immigration
there, but the call rings once and then drops. I've also sent them an email,
so we'll see if they get back to me.

I'll also look into the two alternatives you suggested, Jon. We'll get there 
somehow
- weather permitting or course!
