Thanks to all for the info and pictures.
I was concerned that the spider collector pot would end up 'floating' on the
hoses
and that the coolant pipe would be sitting on the ring mount. However, from
the pictures, it looks like that is the way to go.
Bud:
I agree, I'm planning ten steps ahead all the time and almost have the whole
engine
installed before I finalise any drilling, fitting, etc. If I don't put it
in and take it apart ten times, I start to wonder what I have done wrong!
The water pump pipes to No 2 & 4 now go nicely through the 'V' in the ring mount
but only after removing the pump, the pipes, cleaning the threads and trial
fitting about a dozen times.
Rowland:
I have the same arrangement - Nev's cowl (might have been the last he made) with
the original engine mount and without the airbox.
I do visit your site extensively to view your pictures and I think I am just
behind
you with my build. I actually tell my wife you are to blame for my extended
build time because I have to wait for you to post pictures before I can start
Ha! Ha!
Thanks again everyone.
Just the engine and cowl to do and she's done :D
