Alan,

As mentioned, Walter Binder has done it.  I had an opportunity to meet with him 
some 25 years ago and took several photos of his unique plane.  As a result, I 
subsequently fabricated my own design for retractable outriggers and extended 
baggage bay, well before the XS was introduced.  Walter allowed me to take all 
the pictures I wanted, but was tight lipped on the design/construction of his 
various modifications.  Of course my German wasn’t very good either.  If you 
are interested, I can see about resurrecting them.
