I once had a Cessna 150-J and bought and had installed a brand new Terra 920
(720 or 760 channels (com) with VOR and ILS.

I had trouble when flying nearby tall antennas in South Houston.  Radio range
was not the best either.  Looking back I would much rather pay the same money
for a used King or Narco or Collins radio than a brand new Terra.
