The manual shows the optional "L" shaped spar guide tight against the aft side of the spar. This would seem to make spar insertion difficult. Intuitively it looks like between 1/16 and 1/8 would be a good compromise. Advice anyone? I made each spar guide using 3 of the triangular offcuts from the tufnol CS06 rear stick bearings. Bonded them together with Redux and then filed to shape. They seem adequate and the price was right. John A044 |
