Well, What really needs to happen is Europa should have a presense on the list.
  I know for a fact that Europa does monitor the list.  My company, Banyan
Systems, also has an Internet user list run by folks outside of the company. 
We, Banyan, monitor the list and for the most part do not comment on the list
posts.  But on critical items we do make a response for the sake of clarity or
emergency change notice.

There is but the problem is that the speed of the internet is instantaneous 
and therefore is considerably faster than Europa can generate an official 
notice and post it via snailmail to the appropriate builders.
