I don=27t know where the advice to use a 32Ahr battery with the 912S came from
as we at Europa have yet to publish our installation manual for this engine.
The minimum rating we recommend is 16Ahr as do Rotax, although most people tend
to go for the 24 Ahr size.
The wire size specified is 4AWG not 2
The engine starts easily after having been cold soaked at sub-zero temperatures
for several days.

Unless the battery is 15 feet away from the engine 4AWG is
okay for the 912.
32 a.h.?????? Geeshh=21 unless you need it for ballast
you=27re carrying 10 hours of fuel and need the alternator
out capacity . . . this is much too much battery for the Europa.
I=27ve got Kitfox builders getting excellent performance from
12 to 17 a.h. sealed, lead-acid batteries and a 912
engine.
