Hi,

I used to fly microlight aircraft (powered by Rotax engines) and suffered
---From the same noise problem - irritating high rev frequencies.. We ended up
using ANR headsets which make a big difference to the problem. The only
thing to mention is that different makes of ANR damp out different
frequencies. If you intend to opt for this solution, try and find a supplier
who will allow you to try out a few makes before taking the plunge.

The ones we used to use were by Skyforce - but they are not made anymore.

Carl Pattinson.
