I once heard that 'fewer pilots know well how to land vs know well how to launch.' A good AoA can help with this dilemma. Might even be more worthy than a better set of flaps since you can better dropitin on final. Not that real good 'seat of the pants types' aren't the best- It's just that some of us- are seat of the pants challenged. An indicator to visually assure us against imminent demise is a good thing. Helps to reduce stress I like them in my game simulators as well. HangTen Nic-145 |
